Latest remodelled dress ring
We have been getting quite a bit of interest in our remodel work lately and thought it would be good to feature one of our newer pieces. This beautiful dress ring was created using a ring our client owned but no longer wore. The gold and diamonds went into this stunning new piece and to add some colour we sourced these beautiful blue green tourmalines which really add to the design.
Can you redesign an engagement ring?
Yes. The days of remodelling jewellery simply to repair old or damaged pieces is a thing of the past. Nowdays it can also mark a special occasion. We are seeing a growing trend where couples are choosing to remodel engagement rings to celebrate anniversaries. It is also a great opportunity to add gems or upgrade that diamond that many of us couldn’t afford when we were younger. Can you melt down old gold jewellery?
Yes, we can melt down your old gold and use the same gold to make your new piece of jewellery. Yellow and rose gold are easier as white gold often contains too many alloys in it. White gold would therefore require refining first which can significantnly increase the price of the process. When creating a remodel or custom make we can also offer a buy back of your old gold. Your old gold is traded in (and new gold used for your piece) helping to bring down the cost of a new piece of handmade jewellery.
