If you are thinking about remodelling a ring, use our ringsizer template to find the size of your current jewellery. The ringsizer is available for free to download. Alternatively, we can send you a sizing tool by mail for your convenience. When your remodelling project is completed, a secure courier service is used to get your jewellery to you safely.

Jewellery remodelling is the process of using your old, sentimental or inherited jewellery to create a new bespoke piece. Remodelling jewellery is becoming popular, it is a fantastic way to turn unworn jewellery you have acquired into a piece of jewellery you will enjoy. It is also a great time to add your own personal touch with additional diamonds or coloured gemstones.

We start by examining your existing jewellery and gemstones and will let you know if it is suitable to work with. With your jewellery in mind, we work to design a ring, earring, bangle or pendant that you truly love. If any of your gemstones need repolishing, we will have it done to ensure they shine brightly in the piece. We can also source new gemstones you’d like to incorporate into the new creation. Once a design has been agreed, we passionately begin remodelling your jewellery into a stunning bespoke jewellery piece you can treasure forever.

Yes. Gold and platinum can be reused in jewellery remodelling. White gold, has too many alloys which can make it crack when it's reworked. At Sara Handmade Jewellery we only use new white gold in our jewellery pieces. We can trade your existing white gold (which we send to a refiner) which can help reduce the cost of your new piece.

Times can vary depending on the condition of your gemstones, the design you choose and if there are any additional diamonds or coloured gemstones being added to the new piece. Generally remodelling jewellery takes between 4-8 weeks from the time a design is agreed.
